Tonight, it appears that we'll be hearing from the Final Top 13 (wasn't it 12 last year? What's up with that, Seacrest?!) which means that you'll need to be thinking about your Weetapidol Pool Picks as you watch the show tonight. If you're interested in participating in the Pool, reply to this post with your picks ranked in order 1, 2, 3, etc, 13, with the #1 person being the person whom you think will eventually WIN American Idol in May and the 13th person being the person whom you think will be eliminated this week. I originally had Alexis #1, then changed my mind at the last minute. I want Lil to do well, but I fear she'll go the way of Tamyra, LaToya, Melinda....
According to my own pet demographic theory, it won't be a white guy two years in a row. But there are more guys than girls, and most of them are white, if I recall correctly. So I don't know what to think!
Maybe Lil Rounds is the next Fantasia. Kind of a more mature, Mary J. Blige type artist, but without the quirkiness of Fantasia. We have had pop girl, R&B guy, however you classify Fantasia, country girl, Guy Who Was Supposed To Be Chris Daughtry, pop girl who duetted with that asshole Chris Brown so what is that, and rocker guy. Really no repeats...
