Weetapidol Pool Results: Top 7

So Colton was out in seventh place last week, which I completely failed to notice. Is anyone still watching this show? Is there anyone good on it? Tell me what performances to YouTube, people.

In the meantime, the results! Wendi and Shari both had Colton sixth, which is almost perfect, and gives them 12 points each. Since they were tied for second place one point behind Shmuel, and since Shmuel put Colton fourth, now they are tied for first, one point ahead of him. DAMN THIS POOL IS EXCITING.

And DeAndre is out in 8th place! Pool-wise, the really exciting thing is watching Shmuel hold onto his lead. He squeaks ahead again this week, just barely, having put DeAndre 10th.

Shari was only one place off, putting DeAndre in 7th--landing her one measly point behind Shmuel, who gets first place all to himself again this week. But Shari and Wendi are both close behind, and it's really anyone's game!

(Also, why on earth did I put DeAndre THIRD?!?!)

Is American Idol Sexist? (Spoiler Alert: Yes)

An interesting WNTS editorial about Idol being kinda sexist (and racist).

Weetapidol scores: 10th place and 9th place

I was driving past an American Idol billboard in L.A. and saw an X through Erika's name and was surprised--apparently last week completely passed me by! But Erika was out in 10th and Heejun was out in 9th, and we have some scores to update!

Wendi did great this week, since she put Erika at 9 and Heejun at 8--only one place off for each one. Everyone else wasn't too far off though, so the scores are staying pretty steady. However, Shari was off the most by putting Heejun in fifth. Though that pick wasn't too egregious, it means she drops out of the tie for first place--and Wendi moves in.
