Weetapidol Scores: 12th and 11th Place

Jermaine gets kicked off in 12th place, and we were all pretty close! The two people who were the furthest off, Shmuel and Kelly, still had Jermaine in 9th and did pretty well. Mo Pie gets the perfect score for this one:

10 points: Shmuel, Kelly

In other developments, Shannon goes home in 11th place. Perfect scores for this pick go to Shmuel and Shari! But again, nobody was very far off on this pick either:

This means the overall scores don't change much, Shari catches up with Shmuel to tie for first, and the pack is really, really close.

Next week, in 10th place, a couple of perfect scores up for grabs: Shmuel picked DeAndre to go 10th, and Mo Pie and Jeremy picked Jeremy Rosado. Everyone else picked people who are already gone, but that doesn't mean you can't take the field next week with a smart pick. Stay tuned!

In order to make my picks, I watched all the performances and took notes. Under Jeremy I put "yawn--could go." I actually had him last in my first pass through the placements. SO CLOSE! Why did I ultimately put him TENTH?

I have no idea who these people are, but it's not going to stop me from predicting the victor in the Weetapidol American Idol pool this year! The prize, as ever, is the American Idol-themed merchandise of your choice.

I'm going to watch the performers tomorrow and make my picks. Picks are due by showtime on the East Coast. (Shmuel's pool is going again this year also, FYI.) Here are the contestants, according to Wikipedia.
